This in one of Cathy Duffy’s Top 100 picks!

I wholeheartedly recommend all of the Exploring Creations series by Jeannie Fulbright. This is the perfect science program for all homeschooling families who are teaching their children a Classical education.

All these books are written in conversational tone which allows you to read to your children and it is seeking directly to them. Each volume has beautiful colorful photos they entices the children to want more. The activities are fun and engaging. But better yet, Jeannie Fulbright brings each learning lesson to God so He is glorified through His creation. The author also presents, “What Do You Remember?” within the text body, instead of worksheets and quizzes.

With each of the Exploring Creation with…. books, we created a Notebook to compliment the studies. After reading the lesson, I had my daughter narrate back, sometimes write a paragraph, of what I had just read. By doing this, it ensures that my daughter is learning the lesson that was being discussed. Then we would move right into the experiments and activities where the lesson is reenforced.

Teaching Science with these Apologia books makes teaching so much easier! No more fear of not knowing what to teach!
